SoftChalk Lesson Builder LTAD 3270 CRN 2382 (10/14/13 – 11/11/13)
This hands-on course will support faculty in identifying, creating, and integrating discipline-specific reusable learning objects. Faculty will learn how to use SoftChalk Lesson Builder to create original interactive course content. Faculty will also learn how to access and integrate RLOs from various digital repositories. Note: This course is optional for the Digital Professor Certification.

Teaching and Learning with Social Media: Part 2 LTAD3383 CRN 2634 (10/18/13 – 11/1/13)
In this course, faculty will focus on using various social media tools that can be utilized to enhance the communication and engagement of students. This course will include an in-depth overview of Twitter, Facebook, Goggle+ and other emerging social media platforms. Note: This course is optional for the Digital Professor Certification and is part two of a two-part series on social media.
This hybrid course requires two meetings (online) in addition to online coursework. Webinar meeting dates: 10/22 and 10/29 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. (6 PD Hours)
Blackboard Essentials LTAD3283 CRN 2859 (10/21/13 – 11/18/13)
In this project-based course, participants will learn how to prepare their courses for delivery using the blackboard learning management system (LMS). Successful completion of this course is demonstrated by completing a learning module containing certain required elements to demonstrate your ability to use the tools.
