Your personal avatar has become more visible in the latest update to Blackboard Learn Service Pack 11, especially with the changes to discussions. Adding an avatar may give students a better connection with you as a person when featuring your photo (see above). You might want to think about asking your students to do the same. This quick 3 minute video walks you or your students through the steps of adding an avatar in Blackboard.
Note: It’s advised that you save your photo in a 150 pixel by 150 pixel format.
