Please do not create your own logo.
If you require a sub-brand logo, please contact the office of Public Affairs and Marketing.
Sub-brand logotypes complement the master logo and create a sense of unity between the various departments and the College. Sub-brand logos are custom drawn artwork that cannot be recreated by typing letters.

The Sub-brand logotypes are typographic marks that place a unit—a department, office or cluster—within the Valencia College institution. This cohesive system is a complement to the Preferred Master Logo, allowing these entities to have a systematic way of representing themselves.
The sub-brand logo offers the flexibility of identifying a sub-unit. The hierarchy of the Sub-brand Logo is always [ Unit ][ Sub-Unit ] and must have both components to be correctly implemented. Use “and” to replace “&” in all instances for consistency.
To preserve the integrity of the Sub-brand logo, always maintain a minimum clearspace around the logo. This clearspace isolates the logo from competing elements—such as text and graphics.
The minimum clearspace is defined as a space equal in size to twice the cap height of the “E” for the Preferred Master Logo. In some special circumstances, such as digital display ads, it may be necessary to reduce the minimum clearspace to a space equal in size to the cap height of a single “E”.
The Sub-brand logo can be sized down to a minimum of 1″ in width.
A logo that is too small, however, will not be legible and will have diminished impact. The minimum size of the logo for print is determined by the width of the Valencia College mark, which must not be reproduced in size smaller 1”.
